Fluffing out our Wei Chi
Wei Chi, in traditional Chinese medicine, refers to the body's defensive energy or protective qi that circulates just beneath the skin's surface.
It plays a crucial role in maintaining the body's immune defences by acting as a barrier against external pathogens.
Wei Chi is believed to regulate the opening and closing of pores, thereby controlling the body's susceptibility to external influences such as wind, cold, heat, and dampness.
When Wei Chi is strong and balanced, it effectively repels these pathogens, preventing them from penetrating deeper into the body and causing illness. This concept aligns with the modern understanding of the immune system's first line of defense, which includes physical barriers like skin and mucous membranes that prevent pathogens from entering the body.
Simply 'fluffing out' the Wei Chi is essential for maintaining overall health and resilience. It could be considered a cornerstone of preventive health care in traditional Chinese medicine
You can expand this to 'fluffing' out the entire aura and then weaving Figure 8's around the entire body and/or doing Donna's Celtic Weave exercise ... here are Dondi and Titanya showing you how.
WIND POINTS are an ancient ‘go-to’ for defending the body
Learn to be still so the body has space to replenish and strengthen ...
The spiritual aspect of a strong immune system is deeply rooted in the belief that physical health is intertwined with emotional and spiritual well-being.
A resilient immune system is often seen as a reflection of inner harmony, where the mind, body, and spirit are in balance.
So, cultivating 'stillness' can strengthen this connection, fostering a sense of peace and purpose that reinforces the body's natural defences.
By cultivating positive emotions, such as gratitude and compassion, and aligning energy systems within the body, we can create an energetic shield that not only wards off physical illness but also enhances overall vitality and resilience.
This holistic approach emphasises that true health is not just the absence of disease but a state of complete harmony within oneself and with the world around.
